Creatives are great at being immersed in their art. I know a ton of videographers, photographers, songwriters, musicians and graphic artists who are great at their craft.
The one thing most of them share?
The inability to emotionally remove themselves enough from their art to effectively sell it.

In this episode, I am joined by Mayur Phadtare and Amanda Law of Nashbox Studios: Nashville Photographer.
Mayur is one of my colleagues in the BNI Williamson County Chapter. He saw that I had Todd Jackson on for episode 47 about starting a business with the end in mind. Mayur then inquired as to how he could get on the show. Now whenever Mayur and I get into deep conversations, they always seem to revolve around sales and creatives. So, that’s what Mayur, his business partner Amanda and I break down in this episode.
As always, the JMVO Weekly Primer is sponsored by Big Dot Lighting – Commercial LED Lighting Specialists.
